The Dinah Shore weekend 2008 - the absolute largest lesbian event on Earth - was held from the end of March into early April this year. The event itself has become well known by fans of The L Word, who have flooded its doors every year to make the acquaintance of the drama's cast.

This year, amidst the usual revelry, producer and director Ilene Chaiken made arrangements for a private L-Word press conference and TW is ecstatic to report that we were among those personally selected by Chaiken for attendance! What's more, we now have special video messages for Tokyo Wrestling readers from Ilene Chaiken, Rachel Shelley (who plays Helena Peabody), Jane Lynch (Joyce), Elizabeth Keener (Dawn Denbo) and the whole L Word family!

Also, after the TW message, be sure to catch the response given to a question about the possibility of an L Word movie, a la Sex and the City, after Season 6. Apparently, nothing has been planned yet, but Ilene told us she would be very happy to do it.
