The bold fashion icon and indie actress Chloë Sevigny plays Amy in "If These Walls Could Talk 2" (2000), the lesbian-themed follow-up to the first film focusing on three different generations of women. The very queer-friendly Sevigny is additionally well-known for her role as a straight girl who has fallen in love with a young teen living under a male identity in the award-winning 1999 cult film "Boys Don't Cry".
Amy's love interest, Linda, in "If These Walls Could Talk 2" is played by the equally queer-friendly American actress Michelle Williams - who appears in the Emmy award winning film "Brokeback Mountain", as well as in the quirky 1999 film "But I'm a Cheerleader". Seeing these two phenomenal young actresses get together is reason enough to run - not walk - to check out this flick.
Set in the United States against the backdrop of the women's movement of the 1970's, the story unfolds to tell of the budding love that grabs a hold of an old-fashioned young butch and a feminine - and feminist - hippie chick.
Amy, as played by Chloë Sevigny, is an absolute treat to see. Her somewhat naive character is typified by the baby face, the passionate stare, and the borderline-tacky, clean-cut style. Her by-the-book butch look (think: bike, white t-shirt, tank tops) turns the dyke pheromones up to full blast!
Linda is not the only one destined to melt before Amy's handsome dyke cool, softened by a bashful smile and sincere eyes... any dyke-loving girl is sure to feel the giddy tingles right down to her toes!
