Queer culture wouldn't be the same without the sharp, pop-infused and humorously illuminating camp film from 1999, "But I'm a Cheerleader". The film centers around Megan, a young teen who is forcibly - and she believes mistakenly - sent to True Directions, a camp for "curing" homosexuality. It is there that she meets Graham and, ironically, falls in love with a girl for the first time.

The boyish lesbian and very cool rebel Graham is played by Clea DuVall, who also appeared in the 1999 hit movie, "Girl, Interrupted". Her eyes reveal an immense passion hidden under the surface of tender and lonely adolescence. Her face is sure to ignite sparks in countless girls' hearts.

Also, it is well known among dykes in the US that Clea is indeed friends with Katherine Moennig of The L Word fame. This is a key point in current dyke culture.

※A very enjoyable arrangement of scenes from the film, put together by a fan. The scene where Megan is caught transfixed by the sight of Graham drinking water is a masterpiece of dyke sexy.
