Alice Pieszecki is ubiquitously loved by fans of The L Word for her wit, mischief, and charm. Equally well-known is the woman behind the quirky & upbeat character, also recently selected to head The L Word 's upcoming spin-off, out musician and actress Leisha Hailey.

Hailey's first taste of fame traces back to her time playing in the 1990's alternative rock outfit, The Murmurs. Originally a duo, The Murmurs built up a dedicated following in the United States with their unique sound and sassy performances. They enjoyed nearly a decade of cult fame, until the band was dissolved and Hailey took a break from music in order to focus on acting in the new lesbian drama, The L Word. Years later, one fateful meeting with keyboardist and bassist Camila Grey brought Hailey back into the rock fold - and Uh Huh Her was founded in 2007.

Powered by a passion for creative rock, Uh Huh Her has taken off on a phenomenal start - likely boosted in part by Leisha's icon status in the queer girl scene. With a debut album under their belt, the duo had only just begun when they found themselves swarmed by crowds of club-going fans during their tour through the US and into Europe. In addition, their EP "Say So" has ranked at #20 on iTunes Top 100 downloads, showing that the love for their music resonates far beyond the dyke scene.

The duo succinctly describe the sound of their much-anticipated debut album as indie electro-pop, and the influences of 80's New Wave artists and glam wave - such as Depeche Mode and David Bowie, some of Grey's own favorites - are hard to miss. Moreover, the beats are decorated beautifully by Hailey and Grey's perfectly symphonic, ethereal vocals. Overall, with their finely crafted sound and sophisticated appeal, Uh Huh Her has grabbed the attention of more than just L Word fans - they've enthralled music-lovers everywhere. The highly sociable Hailey and slightly mysterious Grey have become close friends, with the discovery that their divergent qualities have made them a truly well-matched pair.

In their interview with Tokyo Wrestling, Hailey and Grey share the concept of their album, their inspirations, how they met, their impressions of each other, fashion, The L Word, Japan and more!
