※A bit hard to spot at night, but the exterior has a retro charm
in blue, red and cream colors.

It was early in the evening when I visited this cafe. A young, local-looking woman sat comfortably engrossed in a book. A few seats away sat a guy digging into his meal of steak and mashed potatoes. The food here isn't limited to the regular light cafe fare: the menu indeed offers steaks alongside vegetarian and vegan options. You can drop by in the morning for an omelet and soy latte, or sit outside on the patio with friends for an afternoon chat. The Coffee Table is a daily stop for many in the Silver Lake community, and celebrities living in the area have been known to come by to hang out. This is also where Tokyo Wrestling interviewed both film director Jamie Babbit and former supermodel Jenny Shimizu.
