--So I hear that The Dinah will be held at a new venue this year; can you tell us more about the move?

In the past we used two hotels for our pool parties, The Doral and The Wyndham. However, the parties always grew too large and we wanted to throw just one massive pool party this year. So we moved from The Doral and The Wyndham to The Riviera Resort, which has two pools on the same property. Now you can move between both pool parties without having to get in your car.

Our night parties got so huge in 2008 that we could barely contain the crowds. Now we are at the largest event location in Palm Springs, The Palm Springs Convention Center.

--How many women are you expecting this year?

We're expecting the same turnout. Tickets can be bought online, so we're moving forward expecting massive crowds. Women think of The Dinah as a must-do, so with that in mind, I'm creating the best Dinah I've ever produced. We all need a reason to just cut loose and have a good time amidst the economic downturn.

--You've got a really strong lineup this year, including Katy Perry, Lady Gaga and Uh Huh Her among others.

I'm ecstatic about this year's lineup. I think it's the best yet. Katy Perry's hit is the 2009 lesbian anthem. The excitement upon the announcement is tremendous. Uh Huh Her are also getting a huge reaction so I am really pleased. I am expecting our biggest year yet!

--Sounds like there'll be some pretty fun shows. I've heard something about VIP concert towers, can you explain what that's all about?

This is something we've added for our VIP Package holders. We're building six towers in the middle of the ballroom providing the best view for entertainment, complete with private bars so you don't have to wait in line. Celebrities will be there as well -- an additional perk for our VIP Package guests.
