Japanese model and actress Ayaka Ichinose delighted the public when she came out as a lesbian last year. In the short time since, she has become a highly visible force in Japan’s LGBT scene and quickly attracted a substantial lesbian following. In addition to work and her appearances at numerous queer events, Ayaka has also been penning her own Japanese manga “Real Bian”, an autobiographical account of her coming out story, made available in installments online.

On November 21st, this energetic "L" girl releases “SekuMai”, her latest gravure DVD and the first production independently scripted and professionally arranged by Ichinose herself. Ayaka explains that "SekuMai" (a word commonly used to mean "sexual minority" in Japan), was crafted with gay women, straight women, and queer viewers in mind. The underlying story, drawn from a number of Ayaka's own personal experiences, brings viewers into multiple queer establishments in Tokyo. Also, as a bonus feature, "SekuMai" includes a wealth of interviews and reports on Tokyo’s queer bars, hangouts, and women only events. Japanese queer culture enthusiasts will surely be delighted*!

Ayaka also thought it was important to bring queer fashion into the production. For this reason, in the "SekuMai" scenes where she is practicing her pole dancing skills, Ayaka decided to wear clothing found at the TW Online Shop.
