今年の春に東京・下北沢で開催された 『アジアン・クィア・フィルム＆ビデオ・フェスティバル』 が、福岡市・天神にあるギャラリー・スペース「三菱地所アルティア ム」で約１ヶ月にわたり開催されます。九州でセクシュアル・マイノリティの映画祭が大々的に催されるのは史上初とのこと。

第20回トリノLGBT映画祭で「Best Feature Film」（観客賞）を受賞した作品 『イーサン・マオ』 がジャパン・プレミアで上映。ゲイであることが原因で家を追い出されて しまった18歳の少年イーサン・マオが、愛と家族の絆に葛藤しながら予期せぬ出来事に巻き込まれていく姿をサスペンスフルに描いた作品。

The Asian Queer Film and Video Festival, held this spring in Shimokitazawa, Tokyo, will run once more spread over the course of a month at the art gallery Mitsubishi-Jisho ARTIUM in Tenjin, Fukuoka. This is the first time in Kyushu's history that a film festival covering sexual minorities will be presented on such a sweeping scale.

"Ethan Mao", awarded Best Feature Film at the 20th Turin International Gay and Lesbian Film Festival, will make its Japanese premiere. This highly suspenseful work presents the story of Ethan Mao, an 18 year-old boy forced to leave home because he is gay, as he wrestles with
conflicts between love and family and finds himself embroiled in events that no one could foresee.
