ブルース・ラ・ブルース
カナダ・トロント在住。映画監督、写真家、ライターなどマルチに活躍する、 アンダーグラウンド・クィアカルチャーの中心的存在。'80年代に発表した8mmフィルムによる低予算のポルノアート・フィルムは、ガス・ヴァン・サントにも大きな影響を与えたという。'90年代からは、『ノー・スキン・オフ・マイ・アス』や、『ハスラー・ホワイト』など、過激な性描写やアンダーグランドゲイシーンをリアルに描いた斬新な作品を発表し、その奇抜なスタイルで世界中に熱狂的なファンを獲得した。

Bruce LaBruce
Based in Toronto, Canada. Film director, photographer, writer. The remarkably talented and ever-controversial director Bruce LaBruce hit the film scene big time with Hustler White in 1996. He has since continued in his long career of producing artsy, underground, pornographic and gay cult movies.
