今月1月30日(土)に、立命館大学人間科学研究所・立命館大学生存学研究センター主催のシネマで学ぶ「人間と社会の現在」シリーズ4『生きがたさのなかで－子どもと希望－』が開催予定。そのなかで、『渚のシンドバッド』（'95）や『ぐるりのこと。』（'08）などで話題を呼び、ゲイとしてもカミングアウトしている橋口亮輔監督の映画『ハッシュ！』（'01）が上映。 カンヌ国際映画祭等で数々の映画賞を受賞したこの作品は、ゲイ男性のカップルと彼らに精子提供を依頼する女性との出会いを主軸に、ゲイを自然かつモダンに描いている映画。まさに、シリーズ4のテーマ「子どもに見出される希望」と「子どもが生きるための希望」にぴったりなセレクション。 また、上映後には橋口監督と『クィア・スタディーズ』（岩波書店）などの著者である河口和也(広島修道大学教授)の貴重な対談が繰り広げられる。行ける方は絶対に行くべし！ ●シネマで学ぶ「人間と社会の現在」シリーズ4『生きがたさのなかで－子どもと希望－』
On Saturday January 30, The Ritsumeikan University Institute of Human Sciences and Research Center Ars Vivendi will host the latest installment in the Learning Through Cinema series, "People and Society Today: Series 4. Children and Hope" featuring a screening of the 2001 film, "Hush!" by out Japanese director Ryosuke Hashiguchi. Following the film, there will be a discussion (in Japanese) between Hashiguchi and Professor Kazuya Kawaguchi, author of the Japanese book, Queer Studies (Iwanami Shoten). ●Learning Through Cinema - "People and Society Today" ●Date: Saturday, January 30
