Tokyo Wrestlingでは、Notesでもいち早く取り上げていた映画『フィリップ、きみを愛してる！』が3月13日（土）より新宿ピカデリー他、全国ロードショー決定！　

本作の基になったのは、懲役167年を科せられ、現在もテキサスの刑務所に収監されているIQ169の天才詐欺師のスティーヴン・ラッセルの人生を綴ったドキュメンタリー小説『Ⅰ Love You Phillip Morris』。劇中のエピソードは全て実話で、スティーヴンが獄中で恋に落ちたフィリップに“愛してる”と伝えるため、全人生を賭けて詐欺と脱獄を繰り返す姿がユーモアたっぷりに描かれる。

そんな信じられないような実在の人物、スティーヴンを演じるのは、シリアスからコメディまでユニークな役を得意とする演技派俳優のジム・キャリー。そのお相手を務めるのは、『スター・ウォーズ』シリーズのユアン・マクレガー。ふたりのラヴリーで熱いカップリングにより、愉快でせつない最高のラブストーリーが誕生した！

The movie “I Love You Phillip Morris” is set for release in Japan on March 13th, showing at Shinjuku Piccadilly and other theatres nationwide.

The film is based on the real life events of Steven Jay Russell, a gay and genius con artist who currently is serving a 167-year sentence in a Texas prison. The movie humorously depicts how Steven escapes from prison multiple times and pull big-time cons just to be reunited with his cell mate, Phillip, and to tell him “I love you”.

Two very unique actors star in this comedic and bittersweet love story; Jim Carey (Steven Jay Russell), and Ewan McGregor (Phillip Morris). What a great ‘couple’!
