Last week, grande dame DJ Anita-san - who most of you know by her masterful mixing skills at the women’s only event Girl Friend and the electro-party fancyHIM - presented a special event “Female & Male, Freaks in Motel” at the stylish women’s bar Motel #203!!!
I thought I'd post something to share some of what went on with you. First of all, Motel #203 has already made a regular event of opening its doors to male guests every Thursday night. Since this past Thursday preceded a holiday, Anita-san decided to take the opportunity to transform the evening into a special event with a lush mix of guys and gals, complete with tantalizing DJs and hosts of all genders as well.

※GWNS, who had also been on hand for TW’s coverage of Patricia Field's time in Japan, was one of the event’s hostesses.
※ilil director, Rachel (center) also DJ'ed at the party. New items are constantly making their way into the ilil shop, making it well worth each trip to check things out.
※fancyBOY Leo (right) also hosted the party along with GWYNS.
※DJ Peli kept herself busy with a double shift as bar staff and DJ.
Many guests at the party had just set foot in Motel #203 for the very first time, and from what I could tell - they're hooked on its cozy space with a hideaway feel. Next time you’re looking for something to do on Thursday, grab a guy and head on over!
