Hello everybody, chief editor Yuki here.

I wanted to let you know that, in addition to our community on mixi, Tokyo Wrestling will now be with you on MySpace as well.

We'd actually been planning to get this up and running long ago, but we were delayed a little by all the work we've been up to. However, everything is finally in order and we are thrilled to announce our official MySpace debut!

We intend to use MySpace in conjunction with this site to better cover queer (and queer-related) musical artists and bands. Every week or so we'll select an artist to introduce here in TW Notes, and include a link to our MySpace page where you can hear their songs.

For our very first selection, we'd like to recognize a band that we've been avid supporters of since we first started TokyoWrestling.com. Fresh from the Number 2 position in our Hottest Lesbians Ranking, we'd like to introduce: the queer, electro Hip Hop duo, Scream Club!

Scream Club is irresistible; their musical mastery is matched only by their humorous, solidly political lyrics, their openly queer radiance, and their self-styled dyke attitudes.

We love "Life of a Heartbreaker", which we chose to share this week for its dynamic rhythm, fun electro stylings, and the rockin' French male vocals at the end. Scream Club has gained impressive ground in the European music scene and they continue to set themselves apart from the rest--particularly with their hot collaborations with other artists.

Scream Club has worked with both the queen of electro-punk, Peaches (featured in their song "Fine as Fuck") and Beth Ditto from Gossip ("If You Want It"). Definitely check these two tracks out when you get a chance!

Also take time to explore our list of MySpace friends, which includes a number of artists who have been shaping the queer scene around the world. Be sure to check out some of their profiles and comments sections for unlimited access to art, film and other queer culture announcements!
